The main project in Unit 1 is make an experiment and report about "Should Mr.Doyle put milk into the coffee so it's good at keeping heat. And it's depended on 8 essential scientific practice. We also learnt a new formula called Newton heating laws, it's SP2. At first we got a question that "Should Mr.Doyle put milk into the coffee", SP3 (question) is the first step of experiment so we can find a way to slove problem, then it SP4, collecting data. We put same coffee and thermometers to 2 beakers, and put cold milk into one of the beakers. Each 3 minutes to record the data. Next is SP5, to analyze the data, exploring some special points in data. After we got data, we can discuss our result with others and check our prediction is validated or not. To identify error is to improve the skills of making experiment, and if we make a experiment similar as this one, our result will be more accurate. When we did reprot, we also used a graph called x,y scatter to support our answer.
Reflection:
(1) I used to think the black coffee will keep heat longer that coffee with milk because milk is cold, but now I know that because the originally temperature of black coffee is higher, the rate of diffusing heat is faster.

(2) I used to think the only way to find out when the corpse died is check the skin and bones, now I know there is a formula called Newton heating laws.
(3) I used to know how to make graph in excel, not I know how to choose graphs are appropriate for data table.
(4) I used to think writing report is very easy, but now I know how to write professional report.
(5) I used to think the physics in US highschool is basic physics, but now I know to
